Beyond Spice
Zena Velloo John’s debut poetry anthology is beautifully accompanied by the art collective of Jayna Mistry, Kershnee Velloo, Raeesah Mahomed, Shaskia John and Shenaz Mahomed. This visual feast is based on the artists interpretation of Zena’s poems. The book “Beyond Spice” was born from this collective creativity.

Zena Velloo John
Zena Velloo John has poems online on (www.itch.co.za ), and (www.makeeverywomancount.org ) and in a print anthology titled “The Ground’s Ear” published by Quickfox in 2011.
She is part of ZAPP as an independent poet/researcher.
She is a spiritual healer (conscious/ trance channel, psychic medium & medical intuitive) with global clients, at www.sacredfeminine.co.za.
She is a motivational guest speaker on Lotus FM’s Night Cafe since January 2021.
Her consultancy of 18 years, at www.zenajohn.com project-manages global development events for 11 International Development organisations worldwide, delivering over 155 diplomatic international events across 27 countries.
